Every bottle we grow is a testament to the authenticity of our fruit and its profound connection to this land

2019 CAlluna Vineyards Cuvée

“For those who crave a well-balanced Bordeaux-inspired red blend, the tiny Chalk Hill AVA just northwest of Santa Rosa, California is the place of origin for you. Calluna is a breathtaking estate on the western exposure of the Mayacamas Mountain range. Had this fruit been planted over the county line in Napa it would equate to a wine costing double the price.” – Food & Wine Magazine

Our Story

East Coast → West Coast → Bordeaux → Chalk Hill

Our journey to Calluna began in 2001 and after years of studying and education both in the classroom as well as hands-on in the vineyard and winery, we planted our roots in the Chalk Hill appellation of Sonoma County in 2005.

Vineyard

Our Slice of Heaven in Sonoma County

With 17 acres of estate vineyards that we began planting in 2005, the growth and evolution of our vines sets the stage for us each year for founder & winemaker David Jeffrey to craft a unique expression with our grapes each vintage.
